Western Livestock Nutrition (WLN) was originally established in 2008 by a producer in the Longreach district who manufactured molasses mixes for his own cattle. During this time, producers in the district asked if he would supply mixes to their own cattle. This then began the successful supplementing business Western Livestock Nutrition.
Throughout this time, Belinda Mcleish provided nutrition consulting to producers supplementing their livestock with Western Livestock Nutrition products.
In 2012, Belinda went on to purchase the business and today continues to provide livestock producers in the grazing industry quality products, specialized services and updated nutritional advice to livestock producers across QLD and beyond.

Kerry McDonald
TRUCK DRIVER & MECHANIC
(AND THE BEST JOKE TELLER!)
Kerry has called the Longreach/Muttaburra district home all his life. After leaving school, he began a Diesel Fitting Apprenticeship with Longreach Motors. Kerry started his first mechanical workshop in Muttaburra and worked there for 10 years before selling the business and moving back to Longreach in 2005.
Kerry became part of the WLN team in 2012 as a truck driver and on-site mechanic. He has a lot of knowledge of the local area and really enjoys working with all the great producers and people along the way.
Away from WLN, Kerry and his wife Kathy enjoy caretaking properties around the Longreach district and he is always kept very busy tinkering and spending time with grandchildren.
Ross Tindall
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Ross grew up in Central Queensland, before heading off to boarding school and then completing an apprenticeship in Heavy Diesel fitting. He then moved on to working on his family stations in Longreach and North Queensland, where he learnt the benefits of nutrition in both open Mitchell grass and deficient wattle desert country. Then deciding to broaden his horizons he took up contract mustering, from Northern Queensland, down to the Channel Country and to the South Australian and Northern Territory deserts. After years of running mustering camps and gaining a diverse range of skills and experience in both stock, machinery and grazing techniques, he decided to come back to his roots and step into something he has had a firm interest in.
